Wounded Warrior Project
Phillip Hayes supports Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), which is a charitable veterans service organization founded by John Melia, offering a variety of programs, services and events for wounded veterans of the military actions that followed 9/11. It operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. WWP has partnered with other charities, including the American Red Cross, Resounding Joy (a California music therapy group), and Operation Homefront. WWP has also provided a year-long Track program, which helps veterans transition to college and the workplace. Wounded Warrior Project has been supported by numerous actors and celebrities, including Mark Wahlberg, Mario Lopez, Gerald McRaney, and Trace Adkins.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Phillip Hayes and his wife support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The mission of St. Jude’s is to advance cures for ill children and to discover means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. St. Jude’s works to ensure that no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.
Tunnel to Towers Foundation
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is a non-profit organization supported by Phillip Hayes honoring the heroic sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. Tunnel to Towers also honors U.S. military and first responders who continue making the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
